We stopped around 8pm on a Friday and it was quite busy. (But definitely worth it!)The smell of food from the kitchen was quite enticing from the parking lot. It is definitely a local Hotspot. The waitresses were very nice and our drinks never got empty. We had the steak dinner (Friday night special I guess). The steaks were awesome. The fried cheese appetizer was absolutely excellent! I will definitely go back.

The cornbread for starters was delicious. It was buttermilk fresh, warm and buttery. Moved on to fried okra with ranch dressing. The okra was hot. Next, a nice juicy two patty burger and haystack fries. I didn't care for the haystack fries because I'm a fan of crinkle cut fries. The haystack fries got cold fast (my guess is because they are thin and spiral cut). I do believe the fries are based on preference. Service was prompt, pleasant and perfect. The Cafe was clean and the restroom was clean.

Stopped in for a cup of coffee on a trip home & was greeted with the friendliest of people and excellent service! Highly recommend trying out this cute cafe for southern cooking if you’re near. Their fries are excellent & their service was exemplary.

My boyfriend and i are on the way to Panama City beach from Nashville TN. We were about 6 hours into the drive and hadn’t eaten all day. I said to him “i wish we could find a local cafe or diner to eat at” not 2 mins later we see this cafe. We stop and go in to eat. I absolutely loved it! The food was delicious, and the potions are big. Fried pie is amazing, reminds me of my Nana’s. Locals came up and talked with us, it was charming. Can’t wait to make this a regular stop next time we come down.

Excellent menu options. Conveniently located. Easy access parking lot. Daily specials, wonderful, desserts amazing customer service. Small town diner feel. Great quality food. Worth going a little out of the way for.

My partner ans I were traveling back from mobile and stopped in late last Friday. Had the stake special and the fried cheese plus sweet tea. Our waitress was awesome and the food was perfect. After 16 and half hours driving it was probably the best part of the trip. Will definitely stop in on our next trip. Thank you for your kindness and great food.

We lucked upon this quaint little town with a cafe that has mind blowing good food. The homemade pimento cheese is the best I have ever had anywhere! Would love the recipe. The Brown town burger with blue cheese was delish and the fried pecan pie....well it was the best thing I have EVER eaten. If you are travelling through this part of Alabama this place is a most stop!
